Equilibrium & Strength

At the BuskerFest this past weekend, I visited a henna artist’s tent and asked for runic designs that symbolize equilibrium and strength.

I value these two concepts greatly because of all that I’ve experienced and continue to go through in life.

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, equilibrium is a state in which opposing forces or actions are balanced so that one is not stronger or greater than the other.

We all know that too much or too little of almost anything can be bad for us. Thus, balance is key: emotional balance, life-and-work balance, physical balance, and biochemical equilibrium,

Now, strength can be the quality or state of being physically strong or it can be the ability to resist being moved or broken by force.

I look for physical strength in my yoga practice and current job description. I yearn for mental strength in my daily life as I pursue my dreams and keep moving forward.
